This Privacy Policy explains what data MediaRoy ("we", "us") collects when you use the MediaRoy S desktop application and this website, why we need it, and what rights you have.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, password (stored only as a cryptographic hash), optional display name, registration and login timestamps.
- Email confirmation: one-time verification codes are stored only as hashes and expire within 15 minutes.
- Device metadata: an anonymous hardware hash of your computer (to enforce licence limits) and, for connected phones, model, OS version and connection status. We do not access your personal photos, messages or files except media files you explicitly drag into the app for transfer.
- Billing records: subscription periods and internal transactions. Payments are handled manually via Telegram; we never see or store your card details.
- Service logs: technical logs (errors, API requests) needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. Why we process it (legal bases)
- Contract performance: accounts, licensing, subscriptions and device control simply do not work without this data.
- Legitimate interest: security, abuse prevention and service improvement.
- Consent: optional communications; you withdraw consent at any time.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not read your private content on connected devices.
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
4. Sharing
Data is processed on our own servers. We use trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery) that process data strictly on our instructions. We may disclose data only if required by law.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, personal data is permanently removed immediately; only minimal technical logs may remain for a short security window.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export and delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

- Deletion: delete your account yourself in the app (Account → Delete account) or write to us. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
7. Security
Passwords and verification codes are stored only as hashes. Traffic is encrypted with TLS. Access to production servers is restricted and logged.
8. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will notify you in the application or by email before the new version takes effect.
